News on the upcoming album
-written by Darkj, 2009.11.06
Hails! It's 7:27am here, nice hot coffee in one hand and a morning cigarette in the other. It's been a few months since I've last updated the site here so I figure I'd shed some news on what has been going on with the band. Our new upcoming album "White Noise Paranormal" will be released sometime early next year, probably either February or March. I'll post an actual release date when the time comes near. Many, many exciting and new things have been happening in the world revolving around Frozen Mist and our indie underground label, Capcomia Studios/Wolf's Lair Records! A few bands/solo projects from around our way have joined our label and will be releasing future albums through us. That being said, the bands on our roster are as follows: Frozen Mist, Funeral Dust, Thelgeth, Nightfolk, Dryw, Svarthjärtad and Decadence Profound. Visit the Capcomia Studios/Wolf's Lair myspace page for further information on all of these bands! Frozen Mist have also been working on a music video for "The Exorcist", which will most likely be finished by this December to help promote the new album. I want to thank everyone who has supported us so far and to always keep underground metal alive!!!
It's coming along...

Hails friends, Darkj here. "espershades" has been released to the public on April 11th and has gotton an updated interview with Elle and a review from Jamie Goforth, both of Black Belle Music. There are a few copies left of the CD, on sale now for $5 USD. You can email us at capcomiastudios at gmail dot com to get your copy thru us!
Virginia black metaller Pcyst, along with myself have thrown together a split CD entitled "The Blasphemy Initiation" which is available as a free download from Capcomia Studios/Wolf's Lair Records. This was originally going to be released as an actual CD thru us for 5 bucks, but we didn't have the money to fork out to get it properly pressed and manufactured. You can download the free split CD on Megaupload here. You will need WinRAR to extract the mp3 files!!
In other news, I have compiled a 3-CD compilation set under the name "Five Years of Darkness", which features 2 tracks from each full-length Frozen Mist album dating from 2004 to 2009. It is 30 tracks of probably never heard Frozen Mist music. As you cycle thru each track, the listener will notice the changes that Frozen Mist has progressed thru in the 5 years of the underground. This was initially going to be a free mp3 download as well, but now, only to those that message us and really want this will it be available for.
And finally, work on the next full-length Frozen Mist album, tentatively titled "White Noise Paranormal", is coming along great!! The rhythm and vocal parts are now completely finished, and now sent off to Richard Baysinger of Fateless Tears for laying down lead guitar tracks. The cover is modelled by the beauty in death herself, Kindra Ravenmoon. Expected release date for the new full-length CD will be Spring 2010. Visit our myspace for more detailed news and updated info.
A message from Frozen Mist

Darkened Hailz everyone!! I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on our forthcoming album, entitled "espershades." I basically started writing this album right after the release of "Dark Seasons of Sorrow" and I had the theme of ghosts, poltergeists and everything dealing with the paranormal and nightmares. I invited Wulv from Funeral Dust to help out with also doing vokillz on this album. This is basically the darkest, heaviest and most progressive music I've ever composed compared to "DSOS" and older releases from Frozen Mist. During the music composing recordings, I had plenty of ideas for album covers, but none that really "grabbed" me so-to-speak. Until one day, I stumbled across one of my younger female friends about last summer of '08 and asked if she'd like to pose and be on the next CD cover, and of course, she was willing to. Her name is Melanie Swank (many of whom you might know of on myspace as Dita Synthetic.)
This will be the final CD front cover of "espershades." Richard, of his band Fateless Tears, was asked to join Frozen Mist as a guest late last month in February to cover the lead guitar solo parts for 7 of the tracks on "espershades." Still in progress, the whole album should be done late this month in March. Once I have all of the tracks completely mastered, I will be sending the CD off for duplication, which should take about roughly 2-3 weeks, so possibly expect "espershades" to be finally released to the public in late April 2009, if everything goes as planned!!!
A brand new fantasy

Darkened hails friends!! It's been quite awhile since I've last updated the site here. "Dark Seasons Of Sorrow" has been finally released on April 26th, thru my underground label Capcomia Studios. Things with Mournful Moon Productions have not been going so well since the start of 2008. The "SINderella" CD from my side project Brumous has also been put on hiatus for who knows when, hell, I might not even release it, I'm not even sure yet. On other news, I revamped this site and gave it a totally new look and design. The beautiful goddess is Melanie, who is now the new Frozen Mist cover girl!! Also, with "Dark Seasons Of Sorrow" out of the way, I have been working on brand new material for the next album, and also have compiled together a new lineup for the next album as well!!! I'll try to keep this site up to date and to keep all of you posted on any Frozen Mist news and updates. Also, be sure to visit our myspace site to check out our new tracks!!! Keep it brutal \m/
An update
-written by Jamie, 2007.12.02
Hails friends!! There has been a major update to the Frozen Mist current line-up and lots of other news!! Here is a brief summary of events that have taken place this past autumn: In the late summer of 2007, half of the new album is finished. Walt has been going thru some personal struggles and we agreed that he could not continue with finishing the last half of the upcoming "Dark Seasons Of Sorrow" CD. Richard Baysinger from the band Fateless Tears was then asked to finish the lead guitar parts for the last half of the new album. Between the months of September and October 2007, there was no communication between Katarina and Jamie. S. Lee Baysinger, also from Fateless Tears, was then asked to complete the female vocals for the last half of the new album. So now, it looks like "Dark Seasons Of Sorrow" will not be completed until at least Spring of 2008. Meanwhile, the release of my side project Brumous' SINderella CD is complete and shall be unleashed to the public between December 2007 and January 2008 under Capcomia Studios and by the newly acquired Mournful Moon Productions for worldwide distribution. Frozen Mist and Brumous will be signing to Mournful Moon Productions in December 2007. Also, to keep the Frozen Mist fans happy for 2007 since nothing has been officially released this year, I decided to put together a small winter-themed 5 track EP entitled "Dead Winter's Hollow." It most likely will be a free download, and I will post the mp3's once everything is complete (the mastering, artwork... blah, blah, blah) hopefully on December 22, 2007. Stay tuned for more news coming soon!!
